Inspired by Italian architecture with an eye to the future, the collection reimagines classic stones in contemporary beauty with the high performance of Dekton®
The Cosentino Group, a global leader in the production and distribution of innovative and sustainable surfaces for architecture and design, is proud to introduce its latest addition: Dekton® Pietra Kode, a high-performance and ultra-compact stone collection envisioned by the renowned designer and architect Daniel Germani.
Pietra Kode breathes new life into the timeless beauty of three classic Italian stones: Vicenza, Travertine, and Ceppo di Gré. These antique natural stones have been decoded and recoded within three Dekton® concrete series, resulting in enhanced properties and endless possibilities for use in architecture and design. The collection’s contemporary elegance is evident in every colour, with rich shades and textures that offer a sensory experience beyond what meets the eye. Moreover, the carbon-neutral Dekton® surface makes Pietra Kode suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, making it ideal for a virtually limitless range of projects.
Pietra Kode marks the third collaboration between Dekton® and Daniel Germani, who has previously designed the brand’s Industrial and Chromica collections with an industrial focus. In contrast, Pietra Kode’s seven hues channel the influence of Vicenza, Travertine, and Ceppo di Gré on Italian architecture throughout the centuries, resulting in a stunning and versatile collection designed to complement any space and stand the test of time.
For this collection, I spent a lot of time decoding each stone’s history in Italian architecture, and reimagined them in a contemporary design with all the benefits of Dekton. Pietra Kode is a collection that showcases luxury in the small, understated details. It’s designed with the future in mind and complements any space in a way that won’t go out of style.

Vicenza Kode
The Vicenza Kode series is a warm and versatile collection of four colours that reinterprets the classic Vicenza stone with neutral tones that blend perfectly with cream, wood, and taupe palettes. VK01 Nebbia draws inspiration from Grigio Alpi and features a fine-grained creamy white base dotted with warm taupe hues. VK02 Avorio is a light beige shade that mimics the eponymous Avorio stone’s natural finish, characterized by the presence of fossil shells. VK03 Grigio boasts a grey color scheme with warm nuances that blend seamlessly with creams, woods, and taupe colours. VK04 Grafite’s mix of black and grey with whitish and reddish cloud-like patches channels the texture of dark, fine-grained limestone.
Travertine Kode
The Travertine Kode series recodes the stone that built Rome into a new technological vision that made classical art shine and inspired Renaissance architecture. TK05 Sabbia reinterprets Italian Travertine with a vein that flows haphazardly and colourfully through the pieces, perfect for rustic or natural environments. TK06 Marmorio takes its cue from Travertino Navona, the quintessential Roman stone, with its porous striped structure giving an elegant, bright, and lightweight look to any design.
Ceppo Kode
The Ceppo Kode series reinterprets the beauty of Ceppo di Gré, a stone often used in Milan’s architecture, to design spaces that inspire and connect with nature. Like the Vicenza Kode, the design along the edges makes it ideal for revealing applications. CK07 Ceppo takes inspiration from the distinctive blue-grey multiform structure of the Ceppo di Gré stone, boasting a pebbled pattern perfect for indoor and outdoor spaces, making it a timeless choice for a classic or modern look.
