Where Precision Meets Elegance
H. Moser & Cie. proudly unveils the Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition, marking the first collaboration between the Swiss watchmaker and Alpine Motorsports. This extraordinary timepiece embodies the seamless fusion of fine engineering, bold design, and unmatched comfort, crafted to resonate with the aesthetic preferences of Alpine’s F1 drivers and endurance racing team.
Drawing inspiration from high-speed trains, the Streamliner collection is renowned for its sleek curves and dynamic presence. The Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition takes this to new heights by embracing a fully skeletonised design, allowing every intricate detail of its exceptional mechanics to be admired from every angle.
At the heart of this masterpiece lies a one-minute flying tourbillon, paired with a cylindrical hairspring, meticulously crafted by H. Moser & Cie.’s sister company, Precision Engineering AG. This cylindrical hairspring, a rare feat in modern watchmaking, requires ten times the effort to produce compared to its traditional counterpart. Its precision, coupled with the tourbillon, offers improved isochronism and reduced friction, embodying the perfect blend of historical craftsmanship and contemporary innovation.
The watch’s striking dial is equally impressive. Topped with a small, translucent domed dial at 12 o’clock, it showcases the signature blue hue of H. Moser & Cie. and Alpine Motorsports. Made from high-quality synthetic spinel, this dial radiates an intense brilliance, highlighting the luxury and sophistication that discerning connoisseurs expect.
True to its minimalist ethos, the watch bears no visible logos, with only a discreet engraving of the brand names on the reverse side. The indices are equipped with Super-Luminova® for excellent visibility, while the hour and minute hands feature Globolight® inserts, ensuring legibility even in low light. The blue moulded rubber strap, designed to mimic the texture of a textile strap, offers both comfort and durability, making this watch perfect for everyday wear.
The automatic calibre HMC 811 is fully skeletonised, showcasing a large openworked gold rotor that oscillates with graceful precision. Despite its complex mechanics, the Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition is compact, water-resistant to 12 ATM, and versatile enough for both sporting and formal occasions.
Limited to just 100 pieces, this remarkable timepiece is a celebration of precision, elegance, and mechanical prowess – a true collector’s piece for those who appreciate the finest in horological craftsmanship.
