FIAT’s Unique 500e Electric Cars Auction at Art Basel Miami 2023 for Environmental Cause

FIAT to Auction Three Exclusive Fiat 500e Electric Cars at Art Basel Miami Beach 2023, with Proceeds Supporting Environmental Nonprofit

At Art Basel Miami Beach 2023, on 7 December, FIAT will spotlight its commitment to the planet by auctioning three unique Fiat 500e vehicles. These cars, created in collaboration with iconic Italian brands Armani, Bvlgari, and Kartell, will be sold at a venue to be announced. The proceeds will support an environmental nonprofit, to be named post-auction.

Olivier Francois, CEO of FIAT and Global Chief Marketing Officer of Stellantis, stated, “It’s exceptional for an automaker to partner with leading Italian brands across fashion, furniture, and luxury to craft something truly unique. This fusion of art with an environmental message, and making these cars available through auction, is extraordinary. These special editions highlight FIAT’s commitment to sustainability, building anticipation for the all-electric Fiat 500e’s North American launch.”

This event aligns with FIAT’s anticipation of launching the all-electric Fiat 500e, Stellantis’ inaugural EV offering in North America. The Fiat 500e symbolises a democratisation of electric mobility and purchasing ease. It plays a pivotal role in Stellantis’ Dare Forward 2030 strategy, aiming for a 50% BEV sales mix of passenger cars and light-duty trucks in the USA and 100% in Europe by 2030. Stellantis is progressing towards its goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2038, including compensating a single-digit percentage of remaining emissions.

Simon de Pury will lead the auction. His de PURY platform, launched on 28 November, offers an online catalogue and facilitates pre and absentee bidding. This feature is ideal for those unable to attend, allowing registration and online or telephonic bidding before the event.

“I’m thrilled to auction these three exceptional Fiat 500 cars. They are not just cars, but stunning works of art. It’s fantastic that the auction proceeds will entirely support environmental initiatives,” said Simon de Pury.
